The Himalayas are not just mountains, but sacred abodes of divine energy. Our Clean Himalaya Initiative focuses on preserving these sacred spaces by collecting non-biodegradable waste while respecting the natural biodegradable elements of the ecosystem.
Our Approach
The Himalayan Cleanup focuses only on collecting non-biodegradable waste. All biodegradable waste is left where they are. From the segregated waste, recyclable materials go to the local material recovery through scrap dealers and rag pickers.
